Frequently Asked Questions
Membership is by invitation only, as mandated by Lions Clubs International. We encourage interested individuals to attend a meeting or contact us directly to learn more about our service projects and meet our members.
Anyone of legal age with a good reputation and a “service-minded” heart is welcome to be considered for membership.
New members typically pay Annual international dues. Please contact us for further information.
Yes! Student members (up to age 24) often pay less international dues. We also offer a Family Membership Program, under which additional family members in the same household may pay reduced dues.
We address eight global causes, including vision, hunger, and environment, while focusing locally on youth empowerment and health and wellness.
We offer flexibility for modern lifestyles. While active participation is encouraged, we value hands-on service and allow members to contribute according to their availability.
Absolutely! We often welcome “episodic volunteers” to help with specific local events, such as food drives or community clean-ups.
Lions gain access to the Lions Learning Center (LLC), offering courses in leadership, public speaking, and project management. You also join a global network of over 1.4 million members for professional networking.
