We Serve with Purpose and Passion
At the MindSpark Lions Club, our mission is simple: "We Serve." As a youth and adult-led chapter on Long Island, we take pride in bridging the gap between global humanitarian goals and meaningful local action. We don't just dream of a better world, we build it, one project at a time.
Our Priorities
We align our efforts with the Lions International Global Causes while addressing the unique needs of our local community.
Hunger Relief: We lead local food drives and partner with area pantries to ensure no neighbor goes hungry. Mark your calendars for our Global Hunger Week of Service.
Mental Health & Well-being: Breaking the stigma is a core part of our current mission. We host workshops and awareness events to support emotional resilience in our schools and neighborhoods.
Environmental Action: From community clean-ups to tree-planting initiatives, we protect our local ecosystems. Join us for our Environmental Week of Service
Vision & Health: Continuing the legacy of Helen Keller's "Knights of the Blind," we collect used eyeglasses and sponsor vision screenings for those in need.
